Editor's review
This software let’s set various restrictions on PDF documents in bulk. You can arrange a batch of PDF documents to have copy, print and other restrictions as well as overall passwords easily.
The interface allows you to set 40 bit or 128 bit encryptions when password restrictions are set. The 40 bit encryption is used in documents that are version 4.x and lower while the 128 bit RC4 encryption can be applied to document versions 5.x and higher. The interface is direct and the very first thing it lets you set is the user and owner passwords. So that user will need either or both, depending on what is set, password to even open the encrypted document. User password lets the user open the document but he’ll need the user password to attempt any modifications. All restrictions are set by default, if you want to permit any of the restricted operations, you’ll need to specifically allow it by ticking the corresponding check-box. The restrictions are permission to print content, copy content, content copying and accessibility, form filling and modifying of contents. Accessibility restrictions prevent page extraction, editing, commenting, signing and content copying etc.
The software supports all latest Windows Operating systems including Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. It does not require any extra plug-ins to carry out the functions mentioned. It provides PDF right click context menu option that makes for ease of use. If you deal with information products and sell them on the net, all kinds of protections are absolutely necessary. Here is a simple tool that can prevent your products being stolen, at least make it difficult to do anyway.
